Trying to take a nap in her room while I worked quietly on my laptop—
Avery: "Mommy?"
Me: "Yes, baby girl?"
Avery: "I just peed in my diaper."
Me: "What?"
Avery: "I just peed in my diaper. A lot. I peed a lot in my diaper."
Me: "You did? You peed, just now?"
Avery: "Yup, it was a lot in my diaper."
Me: "Honey, you don't have a diaper on."
Sigh.

Oh I think I've had that conversation once or twice too.
Oh yeah, sounds like my house. This potty training thing bites. I went backwards and bought a brand new pink potty for the living room, hoping I can coax my 3 year old to use it before she has accidents. Instead, she took my 21 month old son's pants and diaper off and had him pee in it. He did. Go figure.
Oh! And while in bed, too.... Sighing with you.
