I'm not sure when it happened, because the last time I checked I was a mom with three little girls, babies even. Looking at the pictures Sean snapped in Burlington, I see very clearly how big my babies have gotten.
And Fin? She spent the day in the stroller, kicking and gurgling and looking every inch the "I'll-be-sitting-up-eating-cruising-and-talking-by-Christmas" little sister that she is.
I'm trying to chase the lump in my throat with the joy of cracking eggs and coloring inside the lines with my daughters. The sweetest of bittersweets is parenting.

I have a big ole lump in mine, and I am just auntie flutter!
It's amazing how that just creeps up on you.
... it happens no matter what you do - and my God what is that cute thing Fin is wearing with the paw pads on the bottom of her feet? And Avery and Briar with Mom all dressed in jeans? How cute!
I have to find the pause button. How could baby Fin look so big already? I am griping on to each day right now trying to soak in every baby moment. I too have just realized again how big the other girls are and how I have loved every moment. I am getting my third chance to watch it all unfold and I don't want to miss a moment. Sometime I think I need three sets of eyes and arms.
Were you on your way to Echo?!?!? I'm from Colchester, so I'm very familiar with the Burlington area. I hope you guys enjoyed your stay!
Preppy in VT
No joke. They are so sweet.
first visit here i believe. i have two of my own and man, they certainly do grown up quickly.
aw, they are so sweet!
Holy tamales girlfriend. Look at you!
Okay, you have absolutely gorgeous girls, and I love them and they're beautiful and all that, but
OMHH. Look at YOU!
I LOVE that shot of you with the girls ~ you and your babies are so beautiful!
You blink, they grow.
PS You are looking fantastically fit.
I'm consistently amazed by how quickly they grow up. Waaaay too fast in my opinion.
Look at you and your gorgeous girls!
They do grow up too fast. I just found my twins two year olds pictures from school and I thought they looked exactly the same as they do now. Then, their four year old pictures came home and I had to do a double take....who were those big kids? In my head, they are still such babies.
aww they are totally growing!
I came here under the pretense of de-lurking for my own de-lurking campaign today. But, when I saw the photo taken from the sideways kind of angle, I couldn't just say hello and let it be. Besides, I comment here a lot and it wouldn't really be de-lurking.
Back to that photo, I love photos from that angle. I did a set of engagement photos last weekend (or 2 weekends ago or sometimes) and I did several photos from that angle. My husband hates them and laughed at me when he saw them on line. Then, when I printed them out, the bride-to-be was so excited by them that she had the groom drive to see them right then. My husband was just flustered but maybe I've won him over...I can't wait to show him that photo...it just says soooo much more for some reason...
Oh, and you do have babies, they'll always be babies to you........so just let them be your babies! And enjoy it!
