Still no contacts, so I just sat closer

No surprise here, I never made it to Pearl for the contacts. Nor did I make it to the store for dishwasher detergent, stain remover, dog food, or juice.

Luckily I just used the wok, the cover of which, serves as a very effective shield for unwashed dishes in the sink, strategic dressing eliminated the need for liberal application of stain remover, the dog likes pizza, and, despite my thinking we were out of juice, just the other day I bought 6 jugs.

Somehow, through my increasing (how is that even possible) pregnancy induced absent-mindedness, I managed to remember the can of unfrozen juice concentrate I bought "just in case." After making that I opened the cabinet to find 5 very full jugs of much better than concentrate juice. We went from no juice to oh-my-god-will-you-please-drink-some-more-juice in a matter of minutes.

I can tell you are riveted by this post.

I wore my glasses today and it was through them, thanks to the magic of these two girls of mine, that I laughed the purest of laughs as we sat in the thick afternoon sunlight eating yogurt and making faces.

Briar of course refrained from the yogurt as mask activity, not wanting to sully her dress, and finding entirely too much delight in the egging on of her sister.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's episode where we find our heroine fashioning a meal from 9 spaghetti noodles, a jar of pickles and Apple Cheerios through still squinty, bloodshot eyes.

Oh my gosh, they look SOO big!!!!!! They're little women now, my goodness. Seems that only seeing them a few months ago, years have passed. ..sigh... Sending you love. And lots of yogurt smiles. xo

Yogurt masks are yummy. My husband, who has never been pregnant, always assumes we're out of juice and buys many jugs at least once a month. I finally showed him where I kept the juice in the cupboards, and he was amazed to find ten jugs of apple juice there, waiting to be used.

OMG! Briar....she is....I'm just shocked. It seems that the last photos I saw of her, she was still hanging on to the last bit of "babyness". And now...she's such a...well...a little girl. I'm stuttering from shock. And the thing is, it's a reality check for me as well because Emma is only days older than Briar. Where have our little baby girls gone?!?

And I made dinner last night out of leftover asparagus, tuna salad, an old bell pepper, carrots, goldfish crackers, and old egg noodles. Hey, they were fed, AND it was healthy. All that matters. But the thing is...I don't have pregnancy as an excuse. Uy!

Your girls are changing, Avery looking more and more like a member of the full-fledged Toddler Brigade.

Lovely pictures.

Mmmmmm. Pickles and apple cheerios. How do I wangle an invitation to dinner?

And obviously Avery understands the benefits of yogurt facials.

We're no stranger to the delight of funny faces 'round these parts. Thanks for sharing, as I adore gooey faces contorted in silliness!

Oh pregnancy brain. I fear that this is actually just my personality but it sure was nice to have something to blame it on for a change. Laughing with my children, my most favorite thing evah.
