Isn't She Lovely?

Thanks, Stevie, for putting our wonder into words.

Isn't she lovely
Isn't she wonderfull
Isn't she precious
Less than one minute old
I never thought through love we'd be
Making one as lovely as she
But isn't she lovely made from love

Isn't she pretty
Truly the angel's best
Boy, I'm so happy
We have been heaven blessed
I can't believe what God has done
through us he's given life to one
But isn't she lovely made from love

Isn't she lovely
Life and love are the same
Life is Aisha
The meaning of her name
Londie, it could have not been done
Without you who conceived the one
That's so very lovely made from love

Oh, yeah, baby. I mean, come on, what can I say? We're just a big 'ol girl family...I do sort of feel bad for the few boys in it, but, whatever, it will only make them stronger...Oh, and, yes, I do have a snide comment ready for Sean next time I see him. Hee hee hee!

I can't wait to meet my new niece!!!
Congratulations, my lovely sister! You are one mean girl-baby-making machine! And I love you.

Love,
Abs

This story is so, so, wrong so I apologize. When we found out Annie was a girl, Jamie used to walk around singing this song all the time. One day, he just stopped, dead in his tracks, turned to me, and said "how did he KNOW? He couldn't even see her!"

But just like Stevie, even though you've barely seen her, you just *know* she's lovely.

Congratulations!! I always said I wanted a houseful of girls - I just loved having Eve and all that came along with a baby girl. Oh, this song... I played it so many times after Eve was born... it melted my heart every time. Maybe I'll get to play it again in a month or so. We'll see :)

Again, I'm so happy for you guys! Thanks for coming over and saying hi!

See why I went on a limb and guessed boy? I'm bad at the gender game. I don't think I have EVER guessed the right sex.

How come you didn't post the lyrics to Motley Crue? GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS...

...or my personal favorite, the theme song at my house, "Little Girls" from Annie.

(must be sung with a drunken snarl)
Little Girls, little girls, everywhere I look I see...LITTLE....

In all seriousness, a houseful of girls is the best kind of madness. I'm truly thrilled to hear your news - congratulations!! :)
