It's hard to not feel guilty for every infraction, both real and perceived, that we feel we commit as mothers.

I read a comment a while back from another blogger who said she often felt that a lot of parenting blogs were too negative, and sometimes I think I'm guilty of that. You know, I post mostly about the shit and not enough about the joy. But man, this is hard. It's so great to have a place to bare one's mother-soul, and to share, the good and the bad and the ugly.

And I'm glad we can share with each other. So if you ever finish the book, fill us in. I've heard a little juicy tidbit about something called 'the 5-minute miracle'...Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17350861069153040567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13335908.post-48399705401700033542007-03-08T22:42:00.000-05:002007-03-08T22:42:00.000-05:00awww the sweetest moments always make all the horr...awww the sweetest moments always make all the horrid ones so worth it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13335908.post-78775719035107614112007-03-08T22:16:00.000-05:002007-03-08T22:16:00.000-05:00Yes. It IS OK to have a bad day. I have more than ...Yes. It IS OK to have a bad day. I have more than my share. But after 13 hours with a vomiting toddler, she smiles weakly while I stroke her little face and says, "You're my mommy."

My heart broke a little then.

I hope your trip goes well, we'll both be in the air tomorrow. Be safe, friend. And peace for your heart.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11342425698876916791noreply@blogger.com
